Building a platform where all monetization intelligence needs to be dynamic — niches that pay well today may not pay well next week, trending content changes hourly, and affiliate programs update their commissions constantly. The naive approach is a static database of hardcoded data that becomes stale immediately. The platform also needed to serve both beginners with zero followers and experienced clippers, who have completely different earning potential from the same content.

Replaced all static data with AI-driven research loops. On every page load, a local Ollama LLM is given real-time context — live Google Trends RSS data, actual YouTube trending titles scraped from the feed, and the real server date — then asked to research and generate current recommendations. Results are cached (24h for affiliates, 2h for trends) to avoid hammering the model. Built a multi-tab trends engine with distinct sections: what a beginner can realistically earn from this week, what pays the highest creator fund rates per niche, what's trending based on live data rather than training data, and upcoming seasonal opportunities. Each recommendation includes difficulty rating and per-niche earnings estimates rather than generic figures. The platform's REST API handles campaign tracking, video queuing, clip building, submission logging, and team management with role-based access (owner/manager/clipper). A YouTube search proxy enforces recency filtering to prevent returning stale results. An affiliate matching feature takes a clip description and returns the best program to pair with it, including exact bio copy to use.
